Both cruise terminals are close to hotels, restaurants and shopping along the two mile stretch known as San Diego Bay’s Embarcadero. Embarcadero Marina Park is a 12-minute drive from the San Diego cruise terminal and offers pristine cityline views on the waterfront along with well-kept green areas, restaurants and more. The majority of cruise ships dock at the larger of our two piers, the B-Street Pier & Cruise Ship Terminal. Our second terminal, the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier, handles cruise ships, and is a venue for special events and public waterfront access, with a restaurant, a visitor center and a public plaza. There’s lots to do around the cruise ship terminal, to the extent that you might have some trouble deciding how you should spend your time. Round out the evening with a visit to the Music Box which routinely hosts events with live entertainment or the Waterfront Bar & Grill that boasts to be one of the oldest bars in San Diego.
